Did you know that we can perform your deck staining for you? Decks need to be stained about every three years if stained correctly by a professional. The sealant type used can affect how long staining on a horizontal, weather-exposed surface will last. Here are a few of the signs that you can look for that let you know it’s time to give us a call at Pride Painting, Inc. to refinish and stain your deck:
- The framework is starting to show wear and tear but isn’t starting to fail. (Otherwise you’ll need us to help with a brand-new deck, which we are more than happy to do!)
- Boards that look bad such as split, cracked, splintering, or spongey boards or just a general old, dry, shabbiness or faded spots to the look of the deck indicate that deck staining is needed.
- A few boards (but not supports) have to be replaced because of rotten wood, mold, or mildew. Double check that second-story decks don’t have rotten supports especially or it’s time for a new deck.
We are committed to quality work. If we come out to make a bid on deck staining and discover it looks like it’s time for a new deck, we will let you know. Quality and honest pricing are important to us. We will coordinate the proper preparation of your deck for staining with you and make sure you are 100% satisfied with the results. We have an outstanding reputation, and your deck staining project will be no exception.
